Stan grew up in North Carolina, with his parents both from the Tarheel state as well. Both his mom and dad were college basketball coaches, so athletics was the focus during Stan’s early years. In addition to playing basketball, Stan was a ranked junior tennis player and tried out for the Pittsburgh Pirates as a pitcher. However, basketball was his sport of choice. Stan set scoring records at his high school and was highly recruited for his shooting ability and on-court presence. He finished his basketball career at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, which has the largest enrollment (70,000+) of any university in the country. Stan still holds the single-season free-throw percentage record at UCF with an incredible 92% accuracy rate and is remembered as one of the best 3 point shooters in school history.

Stan went right into the financial services industry after his playing days were over, and continues to approach his businesses with the same discipline and focus as he approached sports. Stan’s current hobbies include traveling to see live music concerts, writing, and motivational speaking.

He currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his wife Christine and has 2 adult daughters...Brielle & Brenna.
